Bohmian Dialogue and Inquiry Workshop in Montana

Posted on Apr 30th, 2006 by Kari : Allower Kari
So a few of you may know how much I love David Bohm's work. I plan on posting some more later about dialogue, creativity, consciousness, the holographic universe, entanglement, and a few other topics that I feel are crucial to my life. (lol)

I am going to this event in Montana. It is in May. Maybe some of you can go. You will know if it is right for you or not. The person coordinating the workshop is super cool, and he said if there is enough interest they may schedule another one. It is pretty affordable. So if you are interested and think you want to go or want more information go on the website and email Patrick. (There is a link.) I would love to see any of you zaadzsters there! Or anywhere else for that matter. Thanks!

Hello!

Posted on Apr 18th, 2006 by Kari : Allower Kari
So, it has been a busy time of year. (I know, get over it--when is it not?) I haven't been logged on to zaadz much lately. I did, however, find a new place to live for Brent and I. Should be more spacious... haha, what is spaciousness? Why do we pretend it is contained?! So I just wanted to check in here and say that my life is GREAT and I LOVE you guys. I hope to start up a pod and blog more regularly soon. Life is amazing, and I can't wait to see what you are all up to. I have been tossed to and fro but not ungrounded. (Unless I am insane...then we are in more trouble than we thought.)
:-)
Peace, kari

Watching

Posted on Apr 27th, 2006 by Kari : Allower Kari
So first of all - it looks like I have been logged in since the last time I visted like over 24 hours ago?! Is that for real? I guess I forgot to log out, but I had the impression closing all the browsers would log me out......uh?

Is anyone else just looking at their life, wondering with a sense of humor why we all go about things the way we do? Let me 'splain a little:

Sometimes, it feels awkward and a little foreign (not in a bad way), just going about daily tasks.  As I walked down the long dorm-like hall in our apartment building, took the elevator and put the trash in the dumpster and the recycling in its dumpster, I watch myself with amusement. Then as I get in the car, turn on the radio, and start driving, it just feels kind of strange to be doing these things. It cracks me up that we all drive these boxes around, acting like they are indespensible to our well-being. I think of two days from now when we will be located a few miles away, and the few trips we will make before then with the stuff, and wonder if it is real. I just go with it after a few moments of observation, knowing that I will be expected at work momentarily with the work persona in tact. Coolly enough, I don't think there is too much difference between how I act from one situation to the next. I like to think that consistency between the roles proves I am not so crazy, but I don't know...sometimes I feel pretty crazy.

Then a couple blocks from work I watch people crossing the street. There is a very tall guy. And a local guy that looks very stressed out and I always see acting interesting at the intersections. When I pass him in the library there is a noticeable body odor. Then there are a couple of girls - tweny somethings. One is sooo tan and wearing a fur shrug (is that what they are called?). They both almost saunter on their high heels.

Wait! I catch myself labelling them. Not even in a derogatory way (except for the really tan girl - lol). It is so interesting, the need we have to label constantly.

Moving

Posted on Apr 28th, 2006 by Kari : Allower Kari
Hey everyone! We are nearly finished moving. Miles and Scooter made it to the new place. We are tired and they seem a little stressed out from the move. If everyone could send a special prayer or intentional thought towards them, I know they would appreciate it. I will let everyone know how they are doing later after they have more time to rest. Thanks!
Some of you already know this, but you can check them out here.
